Hi, I'm Fyonna!
Starting from a very young age, I’ve always had a passion for creativity and art. When I was 7, my family moved to Vancouver from the Philippines where I continue to pursue art as a 4th year Communication Design student at Emily Carr University of Art + Design. As I continue to grow in my practice, I’ve began investigating what it looks like to integrate my positionality and intersectional identities into my design work in hopes of better understanding my place in the world.
My fascination with design stems from its ability to change our experience of the world for the better. At the heart of what I do, I aspire to share and amplify people’s stories through the cultivation of human connection and the building of community in my designs. From branding and illustration to book design and painting, I love partnering with people to share their story and bring their vision to life.
Most days, you can find me working from home, listening to the latest episode of My Favorite Murder podcast as I work away. And when not creating artwork, you can find me cooking, daydreaming about travelling, or watching reruns of The Office or How I Met Your Mother.
